Spa box (not restored) decorated with vignettes on all sides painted in grisaille, representing the sites of the Spa surroundings. A drawer is hidden in the plinth. The original shape of this box and the almond ornamentations make it so charming. Some wear and small gaps. Beginning of the 19th century.

WATER JUG

Earthenware water jug adorned with lambrequins and stylized floral motifs; orange pastillage and green frieze on the bottom of the body and decorated beak. An identical model is found in the Decorative Museum of Bordeaux (cf: Bordeaux earthenware in the service of health) described in this catalog as Hustin circa 1730. Very beautiful piece and above all in perfect condition! Dimensions H 10”; foot diameter 4”.

EMBROIDERY

18th century embroidery representing the Shroud of Turin in a frame from the same period. The colors are very fresh but there are some lacks in the silk however the whole is very charming.

BEADWORK

Pairs of beadwork representing a bouquet of flowers in a piedouche vase on a terrace of greenery. The finesse of these bouquets treated in miniature is admirable with a variation in the color of the vases. Original frame gilded with leaf, Empire period.
